Microsoft’s first advanced reasoning AI is here

Microsoft announced a clump of caller in-house AI models astatine Build 2026, including a caller "flagship" model: MAI-Thinking-1. It's an ambitious measurement into exemplary improvement for Microsoft, which introduced its archetypal in-house models last year - earlier then, it had relied connected OpenAI's models.
