Judge blocks Perplexity’s AI agents from shopping on Amazon

A national justice has issued an bid blocking Perplexity's web browser-based AI agents from placing Amazon orders connected a user's behalf, arsenic reported earlier by Bloomberg. In a ruling connected Monday, US District Judge Maxine Chesney writes that Amazon has "provided beardown evidence" that Perplexity's Comet browser accesses idiosyncratic accounts "without authorization" from the retail giant.
