Website developers indispensable past permission capable abstraction astir important contented to forestall it from being covered by the interface. According to Simmons, galore sites neglect to marque those allowances connected each edge.

Apple is investigating whether different solution could connection developers much power with little hazard of obscuring content. A header's inheritance could, for example, span the surface portion its navigation links stay wrong the unobstructed portion.

For now, Safari 27.1 restricts webpages to the country beside the controls and uses the page's inheritance colour to capable the remaining strip. This limits the width disposable for contented connected the outer display.
